Before 04 drops by

Okay, it seems that I despite my previous speculations do have some time to update this blog before the big ‘04. Jehsus how time goes by, fast. I’m getting old before time. We’re entering the year of The Monkey, according to the Chinese calendar, with a double leap year (egad!), and by my own philosophy about not taking anything for granted and see what comes to me, it fits perfectly. This I read in a Chinese almanac, given to me by my mother for Christmas. It also says that I could be in for some changes. Let’s see what happens.

Anyway, I’m starting to babble about the new year before I should (what to write about then, in my new year’s eve blog entry, if I get around to make one?), so let me just say that I’ve added a new poem to the vault of poetic rants. Check it out and let me hear what you think.

By the way, I’m looking forward to this one - don’t you?

  1. Beautiful poem … I am so glad you write in English.

Beautiful photos too. (what is that thing in the snow in the third picture?)

I hope you have had as special a Xmas as I had and that 2004 brings a few more of your dreams to fruition.

    Happy New Year Massimo!

Thank you for your kind words! A bit of a warm-up in these cold times here up north, heh… (^_^) The thing in the third pic. is a small toy-thing with a huge spring beneath, children can sit and rock back and forth on (I don’t know if there’s an English word for such a thing). The picture was taken close to a playground.

  4. Thanks for the toy explanation Massimo. I know just what it is now… there was nothing to give it scale and i am not familiar with snow, so it was a mystery.
