And talking about fresh, I’ve been laying down some accordion on the fresh release from Mushy, where the album is available for download directly on the site as “donationware”, i.e. if you want to, you can contribute with some money, should you like the album. This happens more and more among independent musicians in a kind of protest against the big five companies, EMI, Sony, BMG, Warner, and Universal which controls 85% of the music market and only gives 1/16th of the income to the artists. You can read more about the “Downhill Battle” by following this link. A quite intriguing cause. I’m also trying to release my album this way, if I can find the funds to do so. Try giving it some thought. What is your opinion about this?

Note: Some bird shat down my neck earlier today. Could this mean that I’m going to become a bit more lucky in the near future?
