Talking about poor people,
- Muhammad Yunus opened up a bank for poor people, inventing ‘microcredit‘ where poor people can get a loan so that they can take care of themselves. Now, the bank has over three million customers and boy does this thing work better than some misunderstood aid from a help organisation. Give people a chance and they’ll give back ten-fold. 99,06% of the loans are paid back and the bank is owned by its customers, so that no half-arse shareholder gets the profit. This guy should be listed for a Nobel Prize. Read more about Grameen Bank here.
