Open letter to EON Productions
Dear Barbara Broccoli & Michael G. Wilson,
Since Pierce Brosnan has left the building, you probably have some work to do figuring out who the next Bond should be. And since you seem to be in a hurry, considering the shootings for the next movie will begin in January, I would like to offer myself as a perfect replacement of Brosnan out of the following reasons:
1. Any other well-known actor out there seems inept for the role, lacking either charisma or macho-power or both. I mean, come on, considering Robin Williams? Hugh Grant? I don’t think so. Clive Owen could do the trick but I’m afraid his shoulders are a bit too narrow. Furthermore, fans are beginning to wish for an unknown newcomer such as Lazenby.
2. I might have a huge and crooked nose, but it can be fixed easily and considering that the Bond character over the years has become more of an Inspector Gadget and less a character, my lack of acting abilities should not impose a problem.
3. I’m cheap. Throw in the cufflinks & I’m game.
Yours truly,
Massimo Fiorentino

That’s the most wicked move I’ve seen in a looong time!!! I would definitely vote for Mr. Fiorentino, old jazzin’ freekin’ 4ever Bond wannabe and perhaps Bond will-be!!! Did Mr. Broccoli reply yet?

Haha. Well, no reply - it’s only posted on this web site and was meant as a joke… (^_^) Wicked if they’d actually contact me though… (^_^)

Craig NOT a good choice for James Bond!
Get Brosnan back!
Feb 23rd 2006
Well, let’s give Craig a chance. I just saw him perform in Spielberg’s ‘München’, and he wasn’t bad. But I do agree that although Brosnan never will reach the same levels as Connery or Lazenby, he was still a fine Bond.
What I wish for Bond though, is less gadgets and more realism. Let’s get back to the good old days. Let’s get some more ‘Jason Bourne’ into it…

I have been a Bond fan for 30 years….I am extremely disappointed with the new Bond choice. If they had to replace Pierce, they had the whole package in Hugh Jackman…..very bad casting decision for what one loyal, die-hard fan’s opinion is worth!
