A huge thanks goes to my ISP and old pal, Ulrich, who went to extremes last night in order for me to get my site up and running again after a very sad accident with my FTP client, which resulted in my entire web site being deleted. Thanks UG! E]

I wonder what the hell went wrong. No, despite what you might think, I did not accidentally select my whole web site and pressed “delete”. Some weird command or the like was sent to the server which told it to eradicate my entire web hotel. The Web acts in strange ways indeed.

Several incidents during the past five years has told me the following, which I will now pass on:
