Gadget dilemma

I'd like one of these, but I surely don't know what to do with one...

I am a gadget freak. Both as a member of the male population and as a technorati / musician. My dilemmas emerge whenever I finally have some money to invest (that does not happen very often these days, I can tell you that). Should I be a good boy, and save the money (happens more now than previously in my life - ah, the times when I was emerged in the IT business - had money, but no time to spend it - “Let out the shopper!”), or should I cave in and surrender myself to my inner child…? And then, if I tend to go with the child, then what child? The good child or the bad? The good one has some sense in his approach towards the fun stuff - he makes sure that the investment can last just a tad, and is of good value, the bad one being totally like a raven next to a piece of shiny metal.

Perhaps this is the result of being a late bloomer. I wasn’t very quick regarding the mobile phone, I got my first computer when I was 13 (before that I hung out all he time at my friends’ places), and I haven’t been able to figure out what the fuck to do with my life until now (I’m 32 for you good folks, who don’t know). Anyway, this probably has made my mind probe too much about things. I’m not that spontaneous if I have to admit it.

So when I do face the opportunity to let go and let my inner child go nuts, I still am in a dilemma. Who’s going to win? My inner parent, the little angel or the little devil?
