Bits & bytes
So, I just finished two days of hard work on my girlfriend’s site. She needed a conversion from my old home-made blog system to something more up-to-date (i.e. WordPress). Look familiar? Well, hooray for copy & paste. :]
Apart from that, I am really busy studying. I can not recommend the book by Michael Rabiger about film directing highly enough. It’s a masterpiece. But it’s a lot of hard work. One chapter took me almost a month to get through. Very intensive. Perhaps I’ll post some of the more ‘cinematic’ aspects of my studies here soon. I’m about to take a test, which involves a proper actor. If you’re one, let me know… ;]
Speaking of films… – If you’re the slightest bit interested in film as art, you should take a peek at cinematic(film), a web site dedicated to experimental film & video art. It has a huge database of good quality movies for you to look at. Not only something for a rainy day, I say. Really inspiring.
