Updates, anyone?

Busy, busy, busy. Again. It’s Christmas, what can I say. Got a part time job which I am very happy with, so now money can still flow silently while I still have time to pursue my studies.
I have this dream about making a certain movie. I can’t express strongly enough how much I’d like to make this movie, but I know that I have so much to learn still, before it ever can become a reality. I’m talking about a movie, that probably is going to demand a producer like Vibeke Windeløv (Von Trier’s Dogville, et al.). But hey, it’s good to have concrete ideas already. Like I said, I have some stories I’d like to tell, the big part is just to learn how to tell them properly. I also have some more ‘realistic’ ideas, that can be accomplished without a cast of hundreds and a budget like Titanic. So, I should be able to take the small steps required.
But apart from that, what movie(s) has impressed you lately?
I was stunned by Paul Haggis’ Crash. The plot was intricate, powerful and important in relation to its ‘commentaries’ to our modern living. A worthy movie in the line of movies like Magnolia and Short Cuts.
And I’ve probably said it before, but I am looking so much forward to The Fountain [Trailer], by Darren Aronofsky – one of my personal director heroes…
Busy, busy, busy…
