Mus[e]ums

Come to think of it: Being in the design business means that you are the opposite of being an artist because you get laid paid to do a job that has been ordered. But most often, as opposite to art, a lot of design ideas are being scrapped because of this and that: customer preferences (taste), ‘marketing considerations’ (blah), whatever. Somebody should open up a museum (on- or offline) displaying some of these so-called ‘failed’ designs. It could not only be interesting to see the different development stages of a finished design, but there must also be some brilliant ideas out there that never made it because of some stupid guy in a suit thinks he’s more clever than anybody else in the world just because he works in the PR-department in a hotshot corporation (for example). (If one exsist, please mail me).

Oh, by the way: Have mobile phone, will travel.
