Me, me, me, me
Talking about me (again), I was scrutinising which different career paths which would suit me the best, while trying to get a new life for myself when I discovered that the TypeLogic type I thought I was, I am not. I thought I was an iNTj, but an old test I found which I did in 2000 and a newer one I took just now (just to be sure) at AdvisorTeam showed me that I am in fact an eNFp, furthermore a so-called Idealist.
Now, I don’t take these tests results so seriously since they’re generalisations, but they can be a welcome hint now & then. But in my situation, the hints aren’t getting me closer to the path I should follow, since the AdvisorTeam report showed me these following suggestions to as what I may become:
- Motivational Speaker/Writer (x)
- Clergy
- Journalist (x)
- Management Consultant
- Actor (x)
- Event Planner
- PR Manager
- Executive Coach
- Art Director (BTDT)
- Activist
- Copy Writer
- Illustrator (BTDT)
- Graphic Designer (BTDT)
- Performing Artist (x)
Since I’ve tried some of them (BTDT = Been There, Done That), and I’m already into the Performing Artist (as a musician), the (x) are the ones left for me, that I find interesting, since I’m not good with superiors and frankly should create a career of my own (Activist?? Hmm…). And try to develop a career in those directions in a whim, or at least within a time frame that does not require years of studying…sheesh! I’m turning 30 and time is not in my hands – neither are money. Back to square one I guess… Any suggestions? Truck driver perhaps?

I abandoned the idea of following a “path” a long time ago. How about a promising cluster group? Nonlinear is key. :)

Brilliant! Why haven’t I thought of that before?
