‘City Glow, Mountain Whisper’ by Chiho Aoshima

This is really cool. A big plus in my book. The Japanese artist Chiho Aoshima has created wall decorations for Gloucester Road Underground station, London. Entitled ‘City Glow, Mountain Whisper’, the seventeen arches depict a landscape that gradually transforms from day to night and from an urban to rural landscape. Wonderful. I wish more walls were like this.

This is a police station in Sapporo. Quite cool if you ask me. Reminds me a bit of the bus station on the town square in Copenhagen…
