Music
It all began when I was conducting classical music with a piece of spaghetti in front of my mother's radio, and beating up my dog toy animal on a miniature toy piano, when I was four. I then started playing the piano when I was seven years old. But it was not until I was 18 years old that I attained any form of training, so most of my technical abilities are self-taught. Then I began to pursue a career in the music-business, and began to study this art. The rest is history, so to speak (see below)...

Current Projects
Influences and Inspirations
I am mostly into jazz. Contemporary jazz, or jazz/rock fusion, although there is only a very few genres of music that I dislike. My own compositions tend to be a blend of pop/rock and the jazz style of Chick Corea, whom I admire a lot. Other major influences are Michel Camilo, and Nikolaj Bentzon. My genre is usually hard to define, and that's probably why I'll never get rich in this business.
Playing With Chick Corea
I've actually played four-hands with Chick Corea (and believe me, I sucked big time, because I was extremely nervous!). It happened during a wonderful concert in "Grønnegårdsteatret" in Copenhagen, July 9th, 1996. One of the truly greatest moments in my life. You think the image at the top is manipulated? Don't believe me? Then hear Corea introduce me by clicking here. (99kb QuickTime movie - © Copyright 1996 Danish Broadcast Corporation)

Quantum of solace, part II
Elaborating on my previous post, Zach Lieberman, the co-creator of OpenFrameworks actually talks about artistic practise being R&D for the society in this very inspiring speech:
Hvad iPad’en sikkert kommer til at koste i DK
Billede: Fastcompany.com Der har været mange spekulationer på prisen på en iPad. Humac lækkede i kort tid priserne på deres hjemmeside, men de er nu taget bort. Jeg har regnet på det, og det ser ud til, at priserne sikkert kommer til, at holde. Her er der et hurtigt blik på tallene: Apple’s priser kan [...]
Quantum of solace
It is quite hard these days to find seclusion. Always online, wired up, connected, networking, twitting, blogging, facebooking, surrounded by family, friends, co-workers, available on the phone, on the computer, at work, at home, even on vacation. Even at home, resting, Xbox Live keeps you connected. Most people can handle this. It’s no problem. Some [...]
