The Moonfires (I’m the long-haired guy in the white shirt)

I have played the piano and composed music since I was seven years old and started out playing paid gigs around 1990. I have been involved in numerous bands spanning genres across blues, jazz, rock, pop, funk, soul, electronica and beyond. My discography so far counts 28 albums and I have toured around Europe with various bands throughout the years. I have acted as composer, bandleader, musical director and have even written music for a school musical. Apart from the piano, I am proficient in percussive instruments and I also sing.

My current involvements are in two projects, Aeroplain [On Facebook], and Alex Puddu. The first is my one-man electronica band, the second constellations influenced by a mix of bands such as Tower Of Power, Lakeside Mandrill, The GAP Band, The Ohio Players, Zapp with Roger Troutman, Mother’s Finest, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, Cymande and more.
